From 235 to 139

Hi, my name is Susan. I have a wonderful husband named Jeff and we've been blessed with 3 amazing children and 4 beautiful grandkids.

Recently I've discovered a way to get back my former self.

I still remember when I was in my 20s and 30s and...

✅ had plenty of energy

✅ maintained a slim figure

After turning 40, my once slim figure disappeared, and I started to gain and bulge in all the unwanted areas.

I began to feel tired and drained during the day and had very little energy. I would sleep for 12 hours sometimes and still wake up feeling exhausted. 

I knew something was wrong but I didn't realize how bad it had gotten, until one day I stepped on a scale...

Me and my husband had taken a trip to California to visit some family and were staying at an AirBnB. I was in the bathroom when I noticed a fancy looking scale on the floor by the sink. I hesitated at first, but we hadn't had a scale at home in years, so I decided to step on it just to see what it said.

The scale showed 235! 

Surely something must be OFF, I thought...

The owners must not have calibrated the scale properly...

But no matter how many times I stepped off and on that scale, the number didn't change.

As I thought about it, my heart sank, and I slowly began to realize that the only thing OFF... was me.

How could I let this happen to me?!

I used to be so careful...

But somewhere along the way, after 3 pregnancies and a full-time job, I lost sight of myself and my health.

That night I decided to do something about my health and get my life back under control.

I was Determined To Get The "Real Me" Back

So as soon as I returned home I starting walking every morning. My husband joined me too because he was very supportive in the beginning and he wanted to help. But I soon discovered that it was too hard on my joints with all the extra weight I was carrying, and I was having a really hard time keeping up.

I was afraid to admit it at first because I really wanted to look good for my husband again. We hadn't even been intimate for a while because ever since I had stepped on that scale, I was too ashamed to even get undressed in front of him.

So then I tried yoga, pilates, and even aerobics, but nothing seemed to work, and every time I looked in the mirror I felt so discouraged.
